Opening Week 1978. High school age. With current girlfriend. Matinee - local movie house. About 7 people in the theater at most (including US) . I did not think it was so bad. The Alice Cooper and Aerosmith bits were quite good! I was a HUGE Aerosmith and Alice Cooper fan back then.

I saw it in 1978. I was in first grade. I didn't know who the Beatles were because I was all about KISS. After seeing SPLHCB I was hooked! I had the double LP soundtrack and watched it every time it was on cable until I could own my own VHS. I became a fan of The Beatles because of this movie.
