Can we talk about Berry Berenson's performance....?
And....off topic, but....watching this......*beep*.....it's so bizarre, watching this movie, knowing the lives of Berenson and Perkins.
shareIt is eerie in retrospect. What gets me is the sound of the planes flying overhead, Barbara (Berry) in her last scene turns on the television and some guy is talking about man's inhumanity against man, how bleak the future seems, etc. Knowing of her fate, it's just very sad and unsettling. How strange it was too that she died on the day before what would have been the ninth anniversary of Tony's death.
You know your stuff, Noirdame.
It would be a sad viewing experience knowing what became of this actress.
Watching it in a theater during its original release, two things were touted: the musical score and, really? are they really married?
I enjoyed the film, though, remembering certain scenes after watching it only once in 1978.
