Boy they sure cut a lot out because I read there's a 259 min version.

There's nothing about it in "alternate versions". I think it's crap. Seriously, who'd want to watch a 4+ hour version of this ... boring as batsh!t?🐭

The European market gets the art and the barbarians living on the other side of the pond get the cut-all-to-hell version. So much for living in the "Land of the Free".

Isn't it ironic that it's an American made movie, (Just like Basic Instinct) yet Americans can only see the cut version, and the Europeans the uncut version?

Actually the UK version is 4 minutes shorter than the Region 1 DVD. The French must get the uncut release.

Incorrect. They have the same content but due to PAL speed-up the movie runs slightly faster than the NTSC counterpart.

I see the DVD length is listed as being 110 min but the Laserdisc is 109 min. The Aussie version is listed to be 105 min and I see the French version, 'La Petite,' is listed with a run time of 110 min. The run time for the original VHS I believe was 109 min but can anybody confirm that?
