On the new DVD, in the extra features, there is a tv guide ad for Piranha making it's network debut. Any one remember when this was? I dont remember this being on a major network

I remember it airing on TV, but I can't remember the year. I'm trying to find that out myself. I can narrow it down though. It had to be between 1979-1981. The sequel came out in theatres in 1981 so it might of came out around then. I'm not sure. I'd really like to know though.

Most likely 1979- or 1980. I remember this was on a double bill w/ Blackout! (1978) and was rather surprised a few months later, NBC aired Piranha.
I remember a dazzling, inane sci-fier called Starship Invasions that played at a theater for a week or two during the Summer, and at the end of Summer, NBC was broadcasting the film.
