Just looked at pics from the new Pirahna. How do you guys think this will compare?

Yeah, it's called a remake but I don't know why. It had nothing in common with the original. Even the story is totally different.

I've watched them both dozens of times. Even in the same night, and the movies are totally different. The only same aspect I see is Piranhas attacking people. The piranhas don't even have the same origin. The character's are different, the setting is different, the action is different, everything except for people beeing attacked is different. But yeah, they named it a remake. I still like to see it as a reboot or sequel.

In the special features the screenwriters and director all call it a reboot. I also find it amusing How this is the first reboot/remake that was better than the original
