At the toga party, did Bluto... (possible minor spoiler)? ANSWERED

Personally, I don't think this spoils any of the plot but I don't want to ruin anything for those who haven't seen this classic.

Flounder invites his girlfriend Cissy (not sure of the spelling, but I think that's how it was spelled in the captions) to the toga party and introduces her to Bluto. From what I remember (and I haven't seen this in years), Bluto takes her by the hand and they leave the scene. That's the last we see of Cissy, and the incident is not mentioned later.

Did Bluto hook up with her? From what I understand there was a novelization and a paperback "comic book" made of the film, both of which provide details not in the film.

Was there more to it than what was in the film?

Nope, Cissy is later seen dancing with Flounder during the "Shout" scene.

No problem. Also, I forgot to mention it, but Flounder actually introduced her to Otter, not Bluto.

That's right. I've seen it dozens of times, but it's been years since I last watched it.
