The Stork - Underrated, should have had more scenes

Watched Animal House for the 1st time in years last night and realized what a funny character The Stork could have been if he had more scenes. He had a very odd personality it seemed, apparently to the point where everyone thought he was brain damaged. He has only one or two lines in the film: "What're we supposed to do ya moh-ron!", and I forgot the other. He also randomly jumps to the front of the marching band and pushes away the band leader. He then marches the band down an alley into a wall to help set off the chaos to ensue. I wish they had had more scenes with him. He could have been a funnier character if he had more material.

"Welcome to the party pal!!!"

Well, Doug Kenney, who played him, wrote the picture, so maybe he was busy doing that. I don't remember any other lines he has, just that response to Bluto. Sad that both men died within two years of each other.

In the beginning of the movie he walks by and says something about having a boner, lol

It's said that Doug Kenny was a comedy genius. Apparently he was really sad when shooting wrapped up on AH. He may have only had a small part but as I've seen this film many many times it doesn't seem that way to me.

Kenney was a very funny writer.

"Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?"

Kenny also co-wrote Caddyshack, in which he also had a small part. Rumor has it that he accidentally died while trying to kill himself in Hawaii. He also cofounded National Lampoon.

Keith Moon was the greatest 'Keith Moon Style' drummer ever!!

I guess he wrote I love you to his girlfriend on the bathroom mirror. Kind of like a goodbye message? no one really knows why he was out on that cliff when the ground gave way.

Harold Ramis joked that it would have been just like Kenney to get killed accidentally while looking for a place to kill himself.

It would've been nice to see a "Whatever Happened to" for the Stork at the end of the movie. Maybe he got rich inventing computers.
