I found a source that puts Sarah Holcombe's specific birthdate at January 7, 1960, which would make her almost 18 during filming, but not quite. It's not unprecedented for actresses' birth years to be misstated, but that seems unlikely in this case. If anything, they would've fudged it in the opposite direction.
