Lincoln Mirror Discrepancy
Oncoming views of the Lincoln show the interior rear view mirror as being the type that is attached to the windshield by gluing small metal piece to windshield and sliding mirror onto that small metal piece and tightening probably with small Allen wrench. That style was common in the eighties and beyond. It would not have been available in 1962. Mirror would have been attached to the top of the window frame with screws of some sort.
My guess is that the owner had mirror updated for some reason known only to that person when work was done to the car perhaps as the result of a wreck, broken windshield, etc.
