Is anyone familiar with the PBS/DVD series called 'Classic Albums'? More specifically, I would like to know how the 'brown album' aka, 'The Band' is treated in the DVD focusing on this release. I've seen other titles from the series and thought they were very well done. I am curious about the DVD, 'Classic Albums: The Band'.

Any info/opinions would be gratefully accepted.

It's actually really wonderful. As a Band connoisseur, I can firmly say that it does the Band justice. You should see it.

There's some great interviews with Levon, Robbie, Garth and Rick, as well as contributions from Eric Clapton and George Harrison. Well worth a purchase if you're a fan of The Band.
