This is one of my favorite Band songs, yet I've never been able to find much information about it besides how to play it. I was just wondering if anyone knew if there's a story behind it, like there is in "Dixie".

Don't know of any, sorry. It doesn't look like there are any articles on The Band's website. If you are really interested, you should go back to that website and post your question on the Guestbook, which is recently reactivated. There are some very knowledgable people over there. Good luck.
