My month long Martin Scorsese marathon: The Last Waltz

I don't have a whole heck of alot to say about the Last Waltz. I'm a fan of classic rock and The Band, but normally dislike concert films. I liked this one though. Second only to Stop Making Sense in my book. Scorsese's involvement makes it much better than it has any right to be, and the soundtrack on the DVD was outstanding. I'll probably pick this up on Blu-Ray eventually. There's always been alot of talk that this movie makes The Band, especially Robbie Robertson, look like self-absorbed jerks. But honestly, is there such a thing as a humble rock star?

Also, it's a good thing Scorsese decided to lay off the coke, because he looks horrible in this.
