Hi, just some dumb random questions I thought of as I was watching this last night...
1) Ok that infamous line about being raped ....was that SUPPOSED to be as frivolous as offensive as it was or was it written to be serious?
2) Why does is keep alternating between night and day (im guessing most of it was filmed in the day and in editing they put that blue shade on the screen to make it appear dark?

In the theme tune to the film version of Up Pompei Frankie Howerd sings the line...you go in for a grape and you're in on a rape.
The thing that's always worried me about the film is the campers' strange tent. It seems to have TARDIS like abilities. It seems to be significantly larger on the inside than it is on the outside. Plus why is the inside so black? The campers look like they are floating outer space!

Yes, I did guess that...but they could have tried to match the exterior shots and the studio scenes a bit better...
