I'm not sure if the soundtrack is still available on its own, but Dave Grusin (sp?) has a greatist hits CD that has a sizable amount of the HCW soundtrack.

shareI have to second the suggestion about Dave Grusin's cd. I have always loved the music from this movie but evidently a soundtrack was never released. In desperation, I bought the Grusin cd and it has all the themes that make the music so memorable. The cd certainly satisfied my craving for the soundtrack. As a bonus, you will also listen to some other really good soundtracks that Grusin composed.
shareI searched for the soundtrack for a long, long time after the movie first came out, and I never found it, so I don't think they ever released one, unfortunately.
