from a 1941 movie called,"Here Comes Mr. Jordan" with Robert Montgomery and Claude Rains.

The original was very good, but it was about a boxer.
Updating it to a football player made sense for the times.

"Jhuk Gaya Aasman".....this is the indian movie made in 1968 by director "lekh tandon"......& heaven can wait is the remake of this indian movie.....

How can Heaven Can Wait be a remake of this indian movie when Here Comes Mr. Jordan came out much earlier?

titanic13-1; This is a remake of 'Here Comes Mr Jordan', which was filmed in 1941. Or, more correctly, another take on Harry Segal's play 'Heaven Can Wait'.

You can't palm off a second-rater on me. You gotta remember I was in the pink!
