I love this film
This always takes me back to being a kid again. saw it on tv in the mid 80's and never forgot it.
Beatty for once can act here but it is James mason who steals the show along with jack warden as the coach character.
One of those films filled with nostalgia for me and a real feel good experience all round. Be nice to have a film like this made again.
