After Danny upsets Sandy

(I think) Rizzo had an idea Danny would be Cold toward Sandy (she didn't seem to like her much) bc of how he is with the group of guys. He can't show that he actually cared about someone in front of them. Rizzo may also have been jealous of Sandy bc Danny may have actually had real feelings for sandy and never did for her.

Even though Rizzo got in the car to go get some from kanicky she seemed to hope Danny got jealous of that.

I don't have an answer for you. I have never understood it either. Just as Sandy is stepping forward, Rizzo looks really happy and excited, in a good way.

Also, when the girls start to walk away, Rizzo doesn't look happy. Again, in a good way, like she was disappointed in how Danny treated Sandy. The smile just before that moment confuses me. I don't know what it means.

I know that Rizzo was not very fond of Sandy at that point, but this is how I see things.

She wanted to see Danny squirm like a fool because she knew he wouldn't be the nice guy Sandy thought he was. Also Danny looks at her as if to say "You're a piece of garbage for making me do that to this girl." There is an obvious "ancient history" between them.

Because Rizzo orchestrated that whole humiliation on Sandy.

She knew Danny and how he would react - surprised, once he saw Sandy again and put on that cool guy jerk act.

And Danny knew Rizzo did it purposely and he knew why.
They were once a thing and I guess there was unfinished business, where Rizzo was concerned.
