I don't know what to think of it.

I enjoyed it, I felt entertained the entire time but it was strange. The film was like a mix between Blazing Saddles and Hang 'Em High but it seemed to lack that little extra that would make it great. It had quite a few parts that didn't add up, and a couple other times it felt a bit lost. A fun film, it felt nice and gritty, but maybe too goofy or not funny enough when it really could have been. Anyway, I',m not saying it's a bad film, just kinda misdirected at times. Really good idea for a movie, good chemistry, glad I got a chance to see it.

I enjoyed it also, more at first then toward the end. I can't tell whether this is paying tribute to classic Westerns or lampooning the genre. Jack Nicholson is excellent as always, and the supporting cast is terrific, but I was happy to see this end. 6/10 stars from me.

Just caught it on TV.I seem to remember seeing it in the 70s (but if you can remember them you weren't there)Mr Nicholson certainly hams it up to good effect
in fact I doubt if he hadn't directed himself he'd a gotten away with it.Still it was enjoyable if not a bit odd.

This film was better than I thought it would be. But, I agree, there was something missing from this film to make it great but I don't know what. Hard to say. Film is enjoyable, but it's still weird she hangs her chairs on walls.

I think this is the episode of Three's Company where there is some kind of misunderstanding.

I agree. It was amusing, had some nice one liners, a good cast, but played out just a little too predictably and for my liking much too much time was spent in the mine.
