De Palma amazes again. This kept building expectations for traditional Hollywood action film, on purpose without a doubt. Decisions to make Robin go totally mental, Douglas' dodgy actions on several instances, the deaths of both Robin and Douglas, not to mention Hester, the movie kept turning on its head. No likleable characters!! "Heroes" dying... I doubt I've seen anything liek it. Only cop out was the revenge by Gillian.

The whole thing wa sincredibly witty and great fun too. Fantastic. 8/10

It´s cheesy, adventurous, imaginative, fun, silly, funny, sentimental, anarchic and very-very well shot - in other words, typical De Palma. It´s another one of his trademark visual operas - with a story that´s flimsy, cliched and more than just a little absurd. Some of the effects are also a bit on the goofy side. A very entertaining movie nevertheless; it all may be kinda presposterous, but still compelling to watch throughout. 7,5/10.
