I thought it was one of the most scaries and exciting movies!!

I thought it was one of the most scaries and exciting movies!!!! What do you think? Knowing me that I hate blood and there were alot of bloody, gorry scenes!! Yeah!!! I Can remember, the girl squeezing the "life" out of the woman and kissing the guy and making him explode in the end, The boy spinning the dead drippling body hanging over the ceiling!!! Dang!! Good Job for a 70's flick!!!!

It's great to see a well-known director like Brian DePalma ("Carrie", "The Untouchables") balance the suspense and blood shed factors here in "The Fury". I appreicate movies like this that know relying on the amount of graphic details won't make the film any better unless the story is great like Sam Raimi's "The Evil Dead". Also, if you want to see thriller like this like I do, you want the presence of the villian presents to the movie to be pure and simple and not predictable.

I just barely seen this film about 3 years ago, I had never heard of it and watched it on AMC and I agree this movie was really good and there was alot of gore considering the time. The soundtrack was pretty cool too.

We've only seen the last 2 minutes (if that) of this film, but must say, that was the best full body combustion we think that we have ever seen. EVER.

The scene were the guy explodes was AWESOME! I was excited and scared at the same time. I've never see anything like that. Seeing someone have a spontaneous conbustion was amazing! Also, when that boy was spinning that lady around and around, blood kept dripping and pouring from her dying body. And seeing her bloodied face was awful. How could she be bleeding if she was just spinning around? Lastly, the scene where the woman crashes into windsheild was pretty bloody, too. When it zooms onto her face, it looked disturbing and nightmarish.

I am no fan of this movie but I do admit that I usually find Brian DePalma's movies quite intriguing. (The guy has talent)! However, I do think "The Fury" had an interesting story that would be engrossing if you enjoy fictional stories. Still, I didn't care for the characters very much because I thought the acting was mediocre. I was left with quite an impression though because I was shocked by a scene in particular. The part that had Andrew Stevens venting his anger at that woman freaked me out to no end! Watching her spin around 100 mph and spurt pints of blood everywhere was just too much! It's a damn good thing that I had never watched this movie in 1978 because I would have been scarred for life with that scene. (I was extremely touchy with screen violence back then). It was bad enough seeing it when I was 38 for crying out loud!

The scene where the son is levitated above his father scared me..

Yeah I like that scene Jim! The scene before that where Robin killed the woman by touching her in different parts of her body to make her bleed and then levitating her and making her spin to have the blood go flying everywhere now that was brutal! Creative but brutal. Yeah it was a spooky, and at times gory movie for it's time.
