Alan Ladd in 'This Gun is Mine'??

I'm curious -- the retrospective Gloria attends early in the movie shows posters for a movie called "This Gun is Mine" with Alan Ladd. Ladd never made that movie -- so is there an Alan Ladd movie that includes a Chinese Sailor? I don't remember a Chinese Sailor in This Gun for Hire, and I can't think of another one, but my girlfriend insists it's out there.

I have also been searching for years and have never been able to find the movie that they use in "Foul Play". Please, anyone who knows, please respond! I would like to know, too!

Both were Paramount movies though, I wonder why they changed it.

The Alan Ladd movie that Gloria Mundy is watching is called This Gun for Hire (1942), not "This Gun is Mine" as it appears in the movie.

Yes I read the paperback novel when the movie came out...I was about 12 years old and read it cause I loved the movie...In it, they state that the movie Gloria is watching is This gun for Hire....keep in mind that the double feature of "Killers walk among us" was made up for the comic timing of the movie...and the movie they show inside, is a splice of old black and whites and new b&w stuff shot for Foul Play. Like the lady with knife screaming.
