Has anyone noticed...almost all the main actors in this film are DEAD?

I guess Chevy ate his greens. He and Goldie are pretty much the last actors still alive from this film.

Not to be picky but Brian Dennehy (Fergie), Bruce Solomon (Scotty), Marilyn Sokol (Gloria's best friend) and Don Calfa (Scarface) are all still alive as well.

Right, I only know of Billy Barty, Burgess Merideth and Dudley Moore that are dead. I don't think Chevy ate his greens, but I'm sure he sniffed his whites! :)

Nope. Sadly Dudley Moore died several years ago.

Queenie Smith, Rachel Roberts, Marc Lawrence, Pat Ast, William Frankfather, John Hancock, Hope Summers, Ion Teodorescu, died, too.

I got tired of checking the actors in the cast.

Chevy Chase' career has been pretty much dead since the first Fletch. Remember when he used to be funny?

Hell no, Chevy had funny movies although the late 70s - 90s. Chevy is a comedy genius

Not really surprising given that the movie was made close to 32 years ago and the youngest cast member listed was probably 26 or 27 when the movie was made (which would make him 58-60 now).

Even Chevy and Goldie were in their mid-30s in 1978.

The two main actors in the film who died on the early side were Rachel Roberts (suicide at age 53) and Dudley Moore (pneumonia resulting from incurable progressive supra-nuclear palsy at the age of 66). Eugene Roche, Billy Barty and Burgess Meredith were in their 70s or 80s at the time of their deaths.
