This film is so funny

The dwarf cracks me the *beep* up, my seam on my pants could bust. The scenes where the dwarf falls out the window Goldie Hawn's character beating the hell out of him. The scene where his is all cast up in the hospital.

Too funny this movie one in a million man

I like this film. It was directed by the writer who wrote Silver Streak and Nine to Five. Alas, Foul Play is not as funny as either of those two films. The comedy in this film is a bit overshadowed by the mystery and needlessly convoluted plot. Also, the gags are sort of predictable and nothing that I`ve not seen before. The cast is effective. Dudley Moore is very funny as someone who keeps bumping into Goldie Hawn. Burges Meredith is quite funny and silly as her landlord. Goldie Hawn pretty much saves the film with her charm, beauty, joy, liveliness, and sincerity.

This film indeed is classic...for its overall setting and time.
Goldie Hawn was the perfect choice as the vaguely naive yet sweet and kind Gloria (not the brainless or dimwitted blonde stereotype) and for Chevy Chase; who conceivably-the Vacation franchise (alongside Fletch) was pretty much what he (unfortunately) held to his name.

Hawn and Chase indeed were quite a chemical pairing, and should have made more films together (outside of Seems like old times) But alas, Chase had the iconic Vacation franchise success, and Hawn enjoyed her own separate career.

The rest of the lead and supportive cast equally were brilliantly talented. To some measure, the flow reminds me of Lethal Weapon. Glover and Gibson were so beautifully mismatched but blended, for making that series its box office success.
