Anyone know why there isn't a DVD of this movie as yet? It amazes me that with some of the crap that has been put out on DVD not only once but numerous times and yet little gems like this are left in the dark ages of video tape!!!

I wish there was a DVD of this too.

I noticed one thing, to even find info about this movie, you have to type in "The Evil" AND "Gus Trikonis". If you just type "The Evil", you'll wind up with dozens of "Evil Dead" responses.

It may be that if a company just tries to search out classic horror movies to find unreleased ones for potential DVD release, this one is hidden in a seas of other movies with "Evil" in the title.

I'd like to see someone release it for sure! Great movie!!!

It's coming out on the Roger Corman Collection via Shout Factory! in the US Sept/Oct as a double bill dvd. And I cannot wait!

I got a VHS of this. Finally it'll be nice to have an offical DVD release. Guess hoping for EXTRA FEATURES is a bit too much?
