The film poster and image used on the Corman Classics DVD is fantastic. Too bad the film, though a decent Haunted House flick, doesn't quite live up to expectations. I must admit I thought Corman was trying to cash in on The Ammityville Horror but it looks like The Evil was released first.

Made me go see it.
But it wouldn’t work today as there are at least 100 other posters just like it.
It would need something more specific (and stars’ faces) to stand out.
If we amended the poster a bit it would appeal to todays 2022 audience.
