Argento cut is the most street credible version of the three.

1.) All the wacky comical scenes are gone.
2.) Added dialogue that adds street credibility to the story line e.g. The mention of water! This is a big improvement! Water would be essential in a crisis like this and for some reason George A. Romero never mentions it.
3.) It is the shortest and thus it feels tighter. Movies often benefit from this.
4.) Music is more consistent throughout the movie. Remember this is a horror movie.
5.) Fixed mistakes in the end e.g. when Peter shoots the short biker in the end with the sniper rifle and he falls down and then gets eaten by a pack of zombies he actually screams and reacts to what is happening to him.

All this said, i still like the us version perhaps better because of those wacky comical scenes that for me make the movie what it is.
