Hi, i have been in contact with FranklynJaye who played the great spidermike in one of my al time favourite films Convoy, (boy Thing i was 5 when i first watched it and loved it ever since!) anyway this is the reply i got and i though i would share it with you , any more responses i get i will also post.

Hi Justin;
Glad to know that you're a big fan of Convoy. It seems so many years ago that I did. It was a fun shoot though Peckinpah was a bastard to his crew. As a result 65 of them quit during the shoot, so it was kind of a revolving door with replacements. Albuquerque was great, and my truck was the worst so the stunt driver did most of the driving for me when high speed was required.
