long unoticed goof

when the convoy(first 5) tried to lose the cops by dusting their faces over that off-road scene(which i thought was well done, very credible)as they make a "hard right" the drivers door on the third or so truck in line (was a cabover)comes flying open with force and stays open all the way around the 180' turn, but the drivers ina 4 -point and cant ever reach it.if you were in a std. cab you would have come flying out that door like a rag doll!gino.

Seat belts

reply

Good point. But I SERIOUSLY doubt that they used seat belts. I knew alot of truckers including myself that never used them back in the 70"s. I know that I never did!!!

If you were like everyone else, then who'd be like you?

reply

I drove a cabover in the '70s and '80s and company policy dictated that I use seatbelts. But I used them when I drove anything that had them. But I'm just one old dude out of thousands of drivers from back then so maybe I don't count. ;)

reply

You do count, old dude. And it's not a goof if there's a reasonable explanation for, one that you have provided. The actors/stuntmen/characters followed policy dictating they had to wear seatbelts.
