kinowelt dvd bad!!!!

does anyone else have the problem on the kinowelt DVD that the sound only comes from the left speaker. the right speaker only has what can be described as an echo effect. and the center speaker has no output like is usual for a mono movie. if i set my receivers dsp to mono movie the sound moves a little to the other speakers but is still left heavy.

also the dvd is supposed to be in 16:9 anamorphic (it is listed on the back) but is only letter boxed and looks bad zoomed on my widescreen hd TV.

however it is uncut in 2:35 to 1 and has the trailer(even if it is dubbed in German)

will their ever be a proper DVD release of this movie

Not for us Europeans. The movie compagny has not been interested in releasing the 30th Anniversary DVD here in Europe, who is suppose to have a much better image.
What we only can get here is the same dotty old DVD releases with very poor images either as 4:3 Letterbox or 16:9 Letterbox (4:3 Letterbox zoomed).
