I keep looking at that load of pigs Pig Pen is hauling, and wondering how and when he ever takes care of them through all the mayhem of the movie. pigs cant keep cool without mud or something, and they are cooped up in that stock trailer. those things get hot...i see a lot of them where we live, and i cant help wondering about those poor animals.
i dont know about 'do it yourself' car washes in other parts of the country, but here in the Midwest, in addition to the ones for passenger cars-roofed over-there is one wash stand that is open air, with a ladder, a higher mounted hose/sprayer, and a big grille underneath. i supposed thats where the dirt goes, when hoseing out stock trailers, and im sure the pigs would appreciate it. but i can really relate to Spider Mike about the stench...we live on a highway that runs north/south to Nebraska, and goes straight to the auction stock yard here in our town, and on auction days, those cattle trucks really reek as they go by our house! <pinches nose shut> ^_^
I driven past semi's haulin pigs and what a stench. Kinda funny how pig pen was at the front of the pack to. I wonder if this is why the film is never shown on tv/cable. Imagine the reaction of PETA before he rams the Jail.... "OMG!!! NO NOT THE PIGS!!!"
"I'm a vehemently anti-nuclear, paranoid mess, harbouring a strange obsession with radioactive sheep."
Quack, quack! i think we do have a Convoy! mine is full of dogs, though! ^_^ four dogs-two of them retired service dogs- and about to add a fifth dog to train as my new service dog.
yes, i have to admit i cringed when Pig Pen and RD crashed the jail...those pigs had been through a lot, and that might have totalled a few of them.
its odd that in the song hes at the back door, and winds up in Omaha, while RD and the 'thousand screaming trucks' were in New Jersey. guess the actor didnt want to play it that way.
