Is that really Chuck Norris?

I noticed one of the "trivia" nuggets here suggests Chuck Norris has an uncredited role in CONVOY, and now that I've found the likely candidate, I'm not exactly sure.

The guy appears at 1:05:23, though his voice is heard a few seconds before that, griping about oil prices forcing truckers to raise their rates. When he appears on screen, he says "Big money's what I'm tryin' to say," and that's when you get a good look at his face (talking to the reporter riding alongside in the pickup truck with Peckinpah's cameo appearance). If it's not Norris, it sure looks a LOT like him, and even sounds like him (albeit a bit less stiff than he was at the time), but there's a tiny amount of room for doubt in my mind.

Anyone ever verified that it's him?

Chuck Norris appears unbilled as one of the truckers in Rubber Duck's convoy when the newscaster is interviewing the truckers.

Thats not Chuck Norris.
Its Tommy J. Huff, the actor who played Lizard Tongue.

Chuck Norris appeared in Breaker! Breaker! (77) A lower budget film that has a similar story arc as Convoy.

Both films capitalized on the short lived Trucker/CB craze in the 1970's.

I don't know if they were profitable.
