i'm doing a history paper on how Movies of the 70's were affected by culture and one of my topics is about post-vietnam and I would like to know how the country was feeling about Vietnam during that era(70's) and how does movies like Coming Home, Deer Hunter, Apocalypse Now, and Taxi Driver reflect the horror of War. Any help would be appreciated. thank You!

Good choice of a topic. I'm writing my senior thesis on a very similar topic using almost the same movies. (Coming Home, Deer Hunter, Apocalypse Now, Platoon and Born on the Fourth of July) Ha, sorry this message isn't very helpful to your question but have fun writing your paper!
