other 'war at home'-themed movies

I'm doing a final project on the war at home in film. "Coming Home" and, to a certain extent, "Harold and Maude" are the only movies I can really think of that exclusively focus on the war at home instead of in the middle of the war. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great.

Been a while since you've asked but I highly recommend "The Best Years of Our Lives" -- probably the first film that dealt with men coming home from war. It focuses on three men returning from WWII and their readjustment to civilian life - as well as the adjustments their families had to make. Truly a great film.

"Grace is Gone" and "In the Valley of Elah" were fairly good Iraq war-related films.

Another that springs to mind other than those mentioned is "Jacob's Ladder," which ... well, if I say more, I'll spoil it.

Don't forget Mrs. Miniver--set in England during the early days of WWII.
