Just an Amazing soundtrack

Does anyone know why IMDB doesn't list any of the films music and why no soundtrack was ever released?

reply

If you go to the main page for "Coming Home" and look to the left, you'll see a section entitled "Fun Stuff". Within that section, you can click on "Soundtrack Listing" and it will give you the song list.

Thanks.

Quite possibly the finest "rock" music soundtrack. And perhaps the first to actually sublimate the music to the dialogue when it's being played. Shows they really chose the songs with great care.

Sorry it has never come out on its own as soundtrack music. They probably would have had to pay too much in royalties????

Guess one could download the tunes on one's own.

It is. I was just watching the film and looked for the soundtrack. It's too bad they never put out a tape/cd/whatever for it.

Definitely would not have been the same without it. Each and every song is perfect for the scene it is in. Has been one of the main reasons this remains one of my favorite films of all times. Of course Jon Voights performance does not hurt, as well as fine turns by Penelope Milford and Robert Carridine (whos role is not very substantial but realy stood out)

word. It's definitely worth taking the time to compile your own. And then see if you can listen to 'Once I was' without getting upset

"Once I Was" at the end just pulled me apart. I've always loved that song and now it really upset me that they never released a soundtrack recording. WHY NOT???!!! Guess I'll have to order the Hello/Goodbye cd. Every song on it is a winner.

I agree that all of the music fit perfectly into their respective scenes. I saw it again this weekend and realized most of these songs are on my ipod already. Whew, just a few more to dowload!

Why ain't you at the garden party you heathen?
