What Does That Mean!!??

In like almost the end when that guy calls his wife a "slope *beep* what is that supposed to mean?

reply

I don't know. I had the same question when he called Luke a "Jody *beep*

reply

A slope is a slang term for asian people. Most widley used during the vietnam war in reference to the vietanmese. He was calling her that because he was angry no other reason. The war left him pretty distraut.

Jody is someone who *beep* your girl while your away on duty.

reply

Yes, I think someone told me it has something to do with the eyes of Asians... the word slope. I think poor Bob felt so confused, betrayed, and generally flipped out. It was the end of the world as he knew it.

reply

The guys in Vietnam used the word constantly, and so it become part of their individual characters to use it as an epithet in virtually any situation. Watched the same thing in my son when he came back from Iraq--using several racial epithets referring to Iraqis. Took him a couple of years to finally understand that it was not good thing to do, so he eventually stopped.

reply

The term slope was used by soldiers in reference tp the slope of the foreheads that Asians were perceived to have.

reply

A Jody was a guy who took your wife/girlfriend while you were away.
