I recorded this off cable TV with my digital recorder and cleaned it up a bit before burning it to DVD but the colors all seem to be a bit washed out.
Anyone know if there are any plans of releasing it? I'd really like to have a higher quality version of this in my library.

I believe it's released on DVD now. I bought a copy on e-bay - and was disappointed to find that it was simply a bootleg and a poor quality one at that.
A couple weeks later - I bought another DVD - and it too, was a bootleg...so I'm done buying DVD's on e-bay. They should be arrested for piracy...of course, if that was the case, I'd have to get rid of Ares.

People, buy the region 2 version that was released in spain. The one I bought has it in letterbox with both spanish and english with spanish subtitles. It was excellent! Great picture with great sound, just like it was in the drivein theaters. Get this one; it is the one with everyone on the cover with washington looking at you.
