the surf scenes are incredible

shareThat was a lot of footage borrowed from Freeman/Macgilleveray's "Five Summer Stories" and the genius of them as well as George Greenough and Dan Merkel (with additional consulting from Bud Brown, Roger Brown and Spyder Wills). You'll notice on the end footage of the big wave stuff at sunset every time the camera starts to point landward they cut to a different angle to keep from exposing the location. Great stuff.
