The title of the song is " SHERRI " by Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons. I would also like to know the name of a song from the movie. It's the one playing when they drive up to the Army Induction Building for their draft physical.

I believe it's called "Crumpled Car" it was written and sang by Dennis Aaberg who appeared in the movie as "Slick". It was a catchy tune!

I have been a lifelong fan of Big Wednesday. Surfer magazine did a 25 year anniversay on BW, There was a interview with Dennis Aberg, and he mentioned writing and singing the tune, it's kinda cathing isn't it!

Hiya,

Was wondering if anyone can name all the song tracks that are featured in the film... So far I've got:

Green Onions - Booker T & The MG's
Lucille - Little Richard
Money - Barrett Strong
Will you still love me tomorrow - Shirelles
Sherry Baby - Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons
Crumpled Car - Dennis Aaberg

Can anyone name any more???

"Where are the weapons...? Why Didn't anyone bring any weapons?!!?"

It is not Nirvana. The movie was made in 1978. Nirvana hit the big time in the late 1980's.

You forgot "What'd I Say" by Ray Charles during the house party scene.

You also forgot the "n" in "soundtrack"
