When they made the last episode
did they know it would be the last? My sense is yes.
EDIT: It was a decent enough episode, but I *hate* the way they ended it!
Don't sell that cow!

Don't sell that cow!
shouldve wrapped it up in grand style:
coolidge- skips college when moses malone comes to carver and tells cool "come on, big fella, i need some help on the rockets..." (may have never went to philly)
salami- angelo dundee (or georgie benton) comes to carver, makes salami golden gloves champ, then a welterweight contender, possible matchups w/pryor, leonard, hearns, etc. (or course, he gets waxed by those dudes)...all-italian matchup with boom-boom mancini would be a seller though...
thorpe- senior yr is huge; doesnt grow at all, but develops wicked tim-hardaway-type crossover, a scary AI-scoring mentality, and a tiny archibald dribble-drive that gets him noticed by big schools, chooses dean smith & UNC, is the guard in the NCAA championship game that passes to a wide open freshman to beat Georgetown...smallest lottery pick (i know, no lottery yet) until muggsy bogues gets picked by bullets in late 80s
hayward- passes the bar after fasttracking his education, becomes sports agent, represents all Carver athletes, starts the pipeline to the pros
jackson- though he died, he comes back as sleepy floyd (always thought he looked like him), torches Lakers for 50+ in playoff game...
You obviously never watched St. Elsewhere...you might want to check the credits. Warren Coolidge ended up working there.
shareCredits schmredits....power forward in NBA or a hospital orderly?...I’ll take owning the boards with Moses Malone and downing the Lakers then Celtics in the finals....
