Jeez Louise...some of these cats looked mid 30's!

The guys that played Reese and Jackson looked WAY too old for high school. Just my opinion.

I agree but that was on a lot of 70s show's. On Welcome Back Kotter they all looked early 20s and Ron Paillio looked late 20s to me. The guy who played Carvelli looked 35. Jimmy Walker when he grew his mustache on Good Times was playing 19 or 20 but looked his age which was 28 in real life. I personally thought the only character's on White Shadow who looked like High School kids were Thorpe and Salami, everyone else looked older!

It's not that unusual for high school kids to be played by older actors. They're usually more seasoned actors and they don't have to worry about school. The only one who was even a teenager was Salami, and he was 19 the first season.

Life is pain. Anyone who says differently is selling something.

Also, minor actors can only work so many hours a day. Most shows do this. Michael J Fox was in his 20s when doing Family Ties. And just look at the cast of 90210.
