Louie hand push in the face of Elaine - Sn. 2

I watched the episode Alex Jumps Out of an Airplane and noticed something; the gang was sitting around the table listening to Alex talk about his recent desire to face fears, eg. jumping out of an airplane. Elaine was trying to talk him out of it, Louie not wanting to have Alex hear her, Louie pushes Elaine's face away with the palm of his hand. Kind of like James Cagney.

For some reason, that did not seem scripted to me. Judging from the look on Tony's face, Elaine's(a little) and Louie.

"Blow it ouchyer ear, Reiger..!" Louie De Palma

That sure is some slap, it seems like an act of the moment, wonder why it wasnt edited.

I just watched that scene on Youtube, and it definitely seems like it wasn't scripted. Marilu Henner was very surprised, Tony Danza looked off-camera to see if they were still rolling, and Danny DeVito looked rather pleased with himelf.

I have a new philosophy. I'm only going to dread one day at a time.

Don't think it was scripted at all...lol. Just watched it a few weeks back and if you look at Elaine's face she was TICKED. Then you look at DeVito and he kind of shruggs apologetically. I also noticed Tony Danza's look of surprise as Louie did it as well.
