Difference in different eras

Is it just me?.....or did the first 100, 200 episodes or so, the beginning seem more realistic than the later era.....I didnt Think about it much Before, but the first era seems more realistic, even though there was allways something unrealistic going down in wentworth, they still seemed more realistic, and the newer episodes, from the middle towards the end seems more soap-ish.....Either way i liked the show through and through, but i Think i enjoy the early episodes more.....And i also, Think the show was better scriptwise, and in character development and so on in the beg, and the characters felt more realistic and genuine in the beginning aswell....The show definitly changed a lot from era to era in my opinion.....

Nice post Stephanie.

I agree. I love the series but the 1979-1982 seasons were definitely the best.

There were some truly outlandish storylines in the latter seasons.

SPOILERS BELOW

Four male prisoners being transferred to Wentworth and allowed to associate with the women - one of them a convicted rapist

Some of the inmates being allowed to to participate in a work release program on a yacht
