PCBH's most shocking and brutal scene

There are so many to choose from, what with all the beatings, bashings and killings. But for me the most shocking scene was Lou Kelly slashing her wrists with a knife. It looked so realistic. I read that some UK ITV regions cut that scene out when they showed that episode.

that was Nola McKenzie that Bea shot with the homemade gun/zip gun after she drowned Paddy Lawson so she wouldn't be transfered to another state where Nola was also wanted. You could see the bullet going into Nola's forehead!

Eve Wilder being hung by Lou Kelly has to be up there.

Yes, I remember the Lou Kelly scene. She did it to herself in the bathrooms, to frame Myra or Reb, can't remember which one, and to get taken to the general hospital to escape.

The most shocking scene for me, and even now I can still see it clearly, was when Pixie was raped. You didn't see the rape, you just saw the camera move in on her face. But afterwards when she went into the laundry she was comatose, and quite beaten up.. They sat her on a chair in the middle of the laundry and she just sat there staring into nothing... That really hit me, because Pixie is in my top 5 favorite characters...

Actually she did it to frame Rita

My wrists hurt everytime I remember what Lou did to herself!

I just can never get enough of Eve Wilder's hanging. I've watched it over and over. It's still very hard-hitting.

What happened to lovely Pixie was just so very sad and heart-breaking. She deserved a happy ending. The writers just went for a totally shocking storyline ending with her.

Yes, it was that monkey-faced weasel who attacked lovely Pixie.

Unfortunately yes, that marks the end of Pixie in Wentworth... Such a tragic ending for her... I won't spoil the details of what actually happens to her, because that is tragic in itself...

And as for Frank, he doesn't get nearly half of what he deserved. But he does get punished...

Frank also does something just as evil later in the show too, when he escapes.

It was a brutal show.

The most memorable for me is probably Top Dog Myra Desmond having her brains blown out at point blank range in a terrorist siege with the gun pushed to the side of her head, then you just see her lying stone cold dead for the rest of the episode. Very chilling indeed.

Other notable ones are Jim Fletcher's wife and children being blown apart by a letter bomb. OK we didn't get to see the bodies and blood which is just as well, but the thought of Jim finding their bloodied body parts splattered everywhere in the narrow corridor was a horrendous one.

Also Cass Parker's head decapitating antics of a male prison officer. That was fun.

For me, it was when the police gunned down Frankie after she and Doreen had escaped. She caught one right in the guts. Her final word: "Bastards!"

haha really? that was atrociously bad.

I didn't find the Lou Kelly scene too shocking because we knew she was going to do something desperate.

The most menacing for me was the Neil Murray night time strangling, the whole atmosphere was creepy.

But of all PCBH scenes, the most brutal for me in terms of emotional reaction are Colleen's family being blown up , her reaction and Judith's acting was superb.

Prisoner didn't shock me with violence, but it shocked me how it could gut punch me emotionally when I didn't expect it, such as:

* Rita talking with Tom and turning her cancer into an analogy of what it's like to drop a bike

* Lizzie losing sid / lizzie's exit from the series and Judy's scene packing up her things / Lizzie's reacting to Maxine's death/Her talk with Maxine about losing her children etc

* Hazel Kent's death

Such a wonderful show which I am rewatching for the 15th time...

The scene where Meg was raped, was horribly shocking, and also rather unnecessary IMO to drag it out as that scene was dragged out

I'm suprised no one has mentioned poor Mouse getting burned alive. During the great fire episode there was a horrible scene of her running around the empty prison corridors whilst engulfed in flames and screaming in terror!
