Wait, so how is this connected to Wentworth?

Is Wentworth more of like a remake type thing of Cell Block H, rather than a continuation/sequel type thing?

Yes, it's a remake/reimagining/reboot, whatever you wish to call it. It's definitely not a prequel. For example, the Freak comes in as governor with Vinegar Tits as her deputy. The two never met in PCBH, and Joan was a regular officer.

Another thing also includes: character spins, like Meg Morris, who died in a Riot, first season of Wentworth. In PCBH Meg is an officer and her husband (an officer as well) was the one killed in a riot.

He was a social worker in PCBH.
