Why is this show overlooked???
I think ITV shows generally get overlooked, maybe because it is not considered PC.

A lost classic for sure. Peter Bowles is just astonishingly funny in this. I'm not sure why it would be considered un-PC tho, I've just watched the whole lot recently after aquiring the dvd's and there's nothing racist or overtly-sexist in it. It's a damn sight funnier than 99% of the *beep* on tv now, that's for sure!
