Something doesn't make sense here

Why would David Banner even want to be cured? Him turning into the Hulk saved him every week. He would have been dead if he wasn't able to transform into the Hulk. Can anyone answer this or do I have to ask my college professor

reply

He wouldn't get in to those situations if he wasn't hiding from everybody. He wouldn't be hiding from everybody if he didn't keep turning in to the Hulk.

Wasn't he only really hiding from that reporter? He always used a different last name but if I recall, him getting himself bullied every episode didn't have much to do with his hiding out. He always seemed to enter a different crisis each episode

reply

He was getting in to situations because he was wandering around the real world instead of doing nerdy things in the lab

reply

Thats what my college professor said. You two are very alike. Thanks

Most of the time yes but some things might not have been able to be avoided (such as a simple plane ride), or coming across someone who needed help!

I think David might have been happy to be the Hulk if he could control it (like the switch of a button)... but he had no control over it! I understand why he'd rather be rid of him, when you consider he couldn't ever have a nightmare without transforming and smashing up the place! I'd be scared to ever go to sleep again!

Just wanted to point out that if he never became the Hulk, Elaina would have lived. After watching a bit more of this series I feel it's just as well the series ended with him dying. After all the whole thing started with his wife dying. Then his friend Elaina dies. Then he gets married again in season 2 only to have his 2nd wife die. That is a lot of grief for a guy to endure.

Good point. Other than Paul Kersey from Death Wish, no one had endured more grief
