Blu-ray?
Has anyone heard anything about a possible release?Would be very nice to have the cast involved in interviews /documentaries as the dvd extras were extremely disappointing.
shareUnlikely to happen as the studio work was shot on videotape. Also I doubt much if any of the 16mm film used to shoot the exteriors still exists.
The special features were okay, but what's odd is there were documentaries and other audio commentaries recorded which didn't get released in the end. The fault of B7 Media apparently.

It can be just upscaled and released as an SD Blu-ray, no? BD is meant for HD video/audio, yes, but that's not its sole purpose considering the amount of space it can store.
shareAye it could, but I don't see the BBC doing that anytime soon. Online streaming to me would seem like the series next and final stop, maybe you can do that already.
