Referenced numerous times in GALAXY QUEST?? (spoilers!)
Did anyone else catch that Galaxy Quest had a very similar ending with everyone getting gunned down in slow motion? Add to that the antagonism between the male first and second in command... a female lead who seems to serve no real function... a similar situation where the teleported kills something it brings up... a misfit crew taking over an advanced ship built by superior alien technology?
