shareYou mean "Weapon" - the Blake clone? That's possible, but Blake's actions in the final episode and the fact that he knows about Jenna contradict the clone theory.
shareIf I'm remembering that episode correctly (I hope I am, I just watched it two or three days ago) the Blake clone was only a physical copy of Blake - he had his own personality, and was apparently a bit of a pacifist hippy. So assuming the Blake who Avon kills is the original (and we have every reason to assume that he is) then there's just a guy out there who looks like him, presumably still shacked up with Rashel on that abandoned planet.
shareIt actually makes perfect sense that the Blake we see on Guada Prime is the clone. The Feds have already used a clone once to get our heroes,it's a perfect plan to use a clone ,maybe a different one to draw an army of rebels together then wipe them out.
shareIt's possible that the Blake on Gualda Prime was a clone and not the real Blake but I don't think so. Avon had been tracking Blake using Orac for some time.

Having just watched the final episode, there's no reason why Blake couldn't have been a clone.
shareThe clone of Blake was just a physical copy, he wasn't Blake in any true sense. I could see no reason why he would leave the planet where he was living with Ravella, take up arms against the Federation and pretend to be the real Blake? its an interesting idea but somehow the Blake killed in the last episode felt like the real guy, not some clone.

That's true. So we are left with these possibilities. The real Blake is dead, either on Jevron or Gualda Prime and the clone is alive and well. The real Blake is still alive and the clone is dead, or they are both dead. Personally I think the real Blake was killed on GP and the clone is still kicking about that planet.

Unless Servalan was aware of Blake being maroon on Gauda Prime! Who do you think that force of men were for when the crew had all gone down in the finale; "Blake?" The story continues with Avon being captured by Servalan and being imprisoned for 20 years in some dark, dank dungeon, but the resistance needs a leader; hence "The Logic Of Empire!" It's a 4 part radio telecast on YouTube if interested!

The final episode "Blake" was written by Chris Boucher not Terry Nation. The last episode Terry Nation wrote was "Terminal" from series 3. Blake's bleeding wounds were to make it clear he was dead because Gareth Thomas wanted Blake killed off.

"Terminal" would have been a terrible ending! Thank GAWD after a year and a half, the series resumed; Avon the leader of mercenaries with the help of ORAC and Slave!

I think that's the most important factor: in Gareth Thomas's mind, the Blake who died was definitely the real Blake, because he wanted out of the show. Of course, that would have happened anyway, given that there was never a season 5, but it's clear he had no intention of reprising the role, no matter what the writers might have wanted to do.
