A company built on milking every single property down to the last drop.
Their milking is achieved through re releases, spinoffs, sequels, remakes, reboots.
I am quite sure that they are almost done with the first three egregiously made phases.
They will hit the "let's just remake the trilogy" moment soon.
I predict within the next 5 years.

I'd honestly love it if they remade the original trilogy.
Not that I'd be interested in watching them but oh my the fan meltdown would be biblical. Just making a remake would trigger the fans but if they actually made the cast more diverse, say a black Luke Skywalker... oh goodness, the fans would lose the plot.
I am a Star Wars fan.
I am a fan of good cinema.
I am a fan of art.
I am not a fan of assholes that just want to profit on others, on their talent, on their art.
Hence, I would loathe the idea of yet another useless remake.
